ENFA Declaration No. 69/2008 update 28th October 2008

The following list shows those UK MEPs who have signed Declaration 69/2008 as at 28th October 2008.

The UK total has now risen from 34 to 46 which is great, but we have a total of 78 MEPs so we still have a long way to go to ensure this Declaration is successful.

If your MEP has not signed yet, please contact them again to explain just how important it is for all fibromyalgia sufferers in the UK and Europe that we gain recognition by the signing of this Declaration.

After contacting your MEP please remember to sign the petition on the ENFA website as well. Just click on the image and fill in your details.

*Those marked NI have declared that they will sign NO European declarations

The following list shows the situation Country by Country. As you will see the UK has made a good start and this is mainly due to the fact that we have very active support groups and forums that have taken this initiative on board and run with it. We have until the end of November before this Declaration closes at which time we will need to have secured a total of 393 signatures.

As you can see, we are joint second in the total number of MEPs per country so we CAN make a tremendous input to the success of the Declaration.

If you are an individual not associated with any of the FMA UK local support groups or forum, your input is also extremely valuable.  All you need to do is check out the names of the MEPs for your region above and contact them, explaining what it is like to live with fibromyalgia on a day to day basis and how it affects your quality of life.

Thank you to everyone and please keep up the good work.
