Symposium: Societal Impact of Pain

ENFABrussels 3-4 May 2011

This first symposium on the Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) in 2010 raised awareness of the enormous pain related costs in all member states. This second symposium discusses ways for decision makers to adopt a much wider, strategic perspective for service prevision and resource allocation.

The 2011 SIP symposium is a two day event with presentations, workshops and panel discussions. Professionals, policy makers and stakeholders will have the opportunity to share ideas of best practice and collaborate to produce recommendations to improve the effectiveness of policy measures for pain care. FMA UK will be participating as a member of ENFA the European Network of Fibromyalgia Associations.

The symposium is being broadcast live on the website on Tues 3rd May from 1.00 and on Wed until 4.00. www.sip-meetings.org. Times are GMT +1
