Glasgow is the scene for the 2nd European Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) Conference. Some information form the conference can be found below:
A lot has happened in the past year and this year’s conference is going to be a good one. We have a Doctor’s session on the Friday afternoon at the Essential Health Clinic and the conference follows on Saturday 24th April at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow. We have a packed agenda with many eminent guest speakers and the conference will be chaired once again by Dr Tom Gilhooly.
Dr Jarred Younger, Stanford University School of Medicine will discuss the relationship and use of LDN with fibromyalgia. We hope to find out more information on his progress since the successful pilot study. More info on this can be found here. Although not on topic for the conference we may find out about his other work with T3 as well.The 2nd European LDN Conference offers a great opportunity to network, share experience and learn more about Low Dose Naltrexone treatment, so we hope you will come and join us in Glasgow on the 24th of April, 2010.

If your Health Care Professional needs some education in fibromyalgia you can request that an FMA UK Health Professionals Pack is sent out to them. All we need is the name of the Health CareProfessional and the address of their practice. We will then send a pack to their surgery addressed from us to them.

You can find a Support Group near you by contacting the Regional Coordinator for your area. If there does not happen to be a support group near you then maybe you can join with some other members and set one up. Support groups provide a social benefit as well as the opportunity to share tips on coping with fibro. They come in all shapes and sizes and we are often told how they have helped people.
