Sign up to an Alpine Challenge and raise money for FMA UK at the same time. This is your chance to do something different and help us out as well... who could ask for more?The Alpine Challenge is a fund-raising event which takes place in the village of La Clusaz in the beautiful French Alps.
You can choose from two options the first of which is a little more gruelling than the second. The first option involves taking part in White Water Rafting, Aerial Trekking, Canyoning and a 17 Mile run better know as ‘Le Belier’.
The second option is to go and watch the first activities but take part in Le Belier which sounds a little less physical but not half as heartstoppingly exciting! To take part in the Le Belier it costs just £295 per person – This is cost, anything raised over this will be donated to your charity.

If your Health Care Professional needs some education in fibromyalgia you can request that an FMA UK Health Professionals Pack is sent out to them. All we need is the name of the Health CareProfessional and the address of their practice. We will then send a pack to their surgery addressed from us to them.

You can find a Support Group near you by contacting the Regional Coordinator for your area. If there does not happen to be a support group near you then maybe you can join with some other members and set one up. Support groups provide a social benefit as well as the opportunity to share tips on coping with fibro. They come in all shapes and sizes and we are often told how they have helped people.
