Style and and Substance event in London
Sistova Productions is a non-profit organisation led by young individually talented entrepreneurs. We currently organise a show called 'Style and Substance', which is aimed at promoting, empowering and celebrating female talent.
There is a small entry fee to all shows and parts of the proceeds go to a charity supporting women. Previous beneficiaries include, Endometriosis UK, Action Aid, Refuge UK, Ovarian Cancer, and Life Charity. November's is an all male showcase which is in support of Prostate Cancer.
The next event is on Tuesday 7th December and is taking place at 'The Last Days of Decadence' 142 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6JE and we would like to support the work that Fibromagia Association does (FMA UK) since it is a charity very close to heart because it was a illness my mother suffered with before she passed away.
A main part of our show is to have a speaker from the charity, come down, talk to the audience about the work they do and how their money helps the charity, as well as how they can access the support you provide if ever they should need to. We are pleased that Pam Stewart, the chair of FMA UK will be coming to speak at the event.

If your Health Care Professional needs some education in fibromyalgia you can request that an FMA UK Health Professionals Pack is sent out to them. All we need is the name of the Health CareProfessional and the address of their practice. We will then send a pack to their surgery addressed from us to them.

You can find a Support Group near you by contacting the Regional Coordinator for your area. If there does not happen to be a support group near you then maybe you can join with some other members and set one up. Support groups provide a social benefit as well as the opportunity to share tips on coping with fibro. They come in all shapes and sizes and we are often told how they have helped people.
