Awareness Week 2010

We are into Awareness Week for 2010 and groups are doing many events around the country. The Glasgow and Paisley group have manned a busy stand at the Braehead Shopping centre. Many people came upto the stall while out for their days shopping.

The Wakefield group have managed to raise £600 on their awareness event. Forum user Dampenedflame raised £180 with a sponsored walk through Roundhay Park and has posted some lovely photos on the site. The Bristol group held a coffee morning at Hanham Community Centre with some homemade cakes.

Fibro has been on the TV in the BBC Doctors show which you can still catch on Iplayer. There has been press coverage as well including an article in Bon Marche.

Pam Stewart is continuing to walk around London raising awareness as she goes and has been updating us all through facebook. This is just a small selection of things that are being done by groups and individuals. Please keep sending in articles and photos about your events and we will publish them on the site to let others know what you have been up to.
