FMA UK is a registered charity administered by unpaid volunteers from the Chair down through the ranks, and as such it relies on donations and organised events to operate. You can help with this by purchasing some of the items that we carry or by contributing a donation.
You can buy books, FMA pins, awareness ribbons, pens, and lots more. All funds that are raised through this go back into helping the charity raise the awareness of fibromyalgia. More information on the items we carry can be found here.
Sponsorsed Events
For events such as sponsored walks and runs, or any organised events that would benefit from sponsors being able donate money online, we have created the option below that allows for additional information to be added while making your donation. This allows your donation to be matched up to the sponsored event. You would obtain your Sponsor ID code from the organiser of the sponsored event. An example of the payment stage where you can enter your sponsored event details is included on this page. You also have the oportunity to add your postal details which will only be held by the charity and not passed onto the organiser.
Please use the Sponsorship Donations button below to make your contribution:
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid offers a simple way to increase the value of your gift to charity by allowing the charity to reclaim the tax on your gift. If you wish to increase the size of your donation in this way, then please download our Gift Aid Declaration Form and send it to FMA UK Head Office. All donations made to the charity from you are convered by one Gift Aid form.
By filling in the Gift Aid form, this means that if you give £10 to FMA UK using Gift Aid, that gift is worth £12.82 to the charity. This is because 22 per cent of £12.82 is £2.82 - your £10 being the difference.
