Well done to My Blackpool Group. Yesterday I was invited to Blackpool Town Hall, I met the Mayor Councillor Mary Smith and the Mayoress Julia Massey. Local MP Joan Humble came and presented the group with a cheque for £150.00. It was an informal gathering in wonderful surroundings and I really enjoyed meeting all the committee, members and visitors who supported the Awareness Day.

We all know what hard work raising both Awareness and money but this is an excellent team who made me feel very welcome. The sun shone and there were plenty of yellow and black ribbons in Blackpool. These sorts of events make my job worthwhile.
