There’s going to be two fun and
friendly gatherings of young people with fibromyalgia taking place in Surrey
and Sussex
in February 2008.
The get-togethers are being run by The
Association of Young People with in partnership with the Fibromyalgia Support
Group for Surrey and Sussex
and anyone who has Fibromyalgia or ME/CFS are welcome to come along.
We promise you a super day spent with
other friendly young people, just like you. We will have rest-times and a
special relaxation session. The day will
give you the chance to talk about issues that are affecting you. You will meet
new friends, share some of your experiences of living with Fibromyalgia and M.E/CFS
and but most of all talk about “normal” things as much as possible. You will
also have the opportunity to do some crafty things too.
The overall aim of the day is to build your
confidence, get some useful information and hang out with new friends. You can
join in or opt out for a rest at anytime during the day. You will be amongst
young people who understand and there will be no pressure to join in with
anything

We recommend that to enjoy the day you need
to be aged 12 or over and around 50% ability. If you’re not in this range but

PARENTS
& CARERS are invited to attend the special networking session led by AYME’s
Chief Executive Officer with information from the Fibromyalgia Support Group
for Surrey and Sussex.
This session gives parents/cares the opportunity to learn more about Fibromyalgia
and the Fibromyalgia Support Group for Surrey and Sussex, about AYME and about
ME/CFS and to share experiences, ideas and information.
