A new Government response was issued on 13 March 2008 and is accessible from the links below. 

The government offer a service to the public to allow people to submit an electronic signature on a petition to register their support for a good cause. There were six petitions on the 10 Downing Street website that support improved diagnosis, provision of resources, and improvements in research.   All these petitions have now closed.
