Hello my name is Irene Logan I am divorced with one son called Graeme and a lovely grandson Rhys who is nine years old. I have been with Fibromyalgia Friends Scotland since their first open meeting in 1995.



We had a real struggle at the beginning trying to get a support group started.We have grown in the last 14 years and now have several support groups in Scotland who are all trying to work together to raise the Awareness of Fibromyalgia.



If I have managed to help even one person I feel it has all been worthwhile. We need to work together as there is strength in numbers to get Fibromyalgia recognised and taken seriously by the Health Authorities and the Government



I will try to do my best as Regional Co-ordinator for Scotland to help the Scottish Groups in any way I can and help to raise Awareness of Fibromyalgia at the Scottish Parliament
