You may have noticed that our February newsletter is a bit late..... I could blame it on fibrofog but its simply down to the lack of hours in the day :( This issue is a bit of a bumper issue with the response to the Guardian Article, Elvis event in Liverpool, our new online shop and more. Of course I will also be letting you know what is in the March magazine and the recent articles that have been added to the website.

his weekend we have launched our online shop that offers many more features to customers as well as offering better management for the charity.We can now offer multiple images of products, quantity discounts, ability to track your order as well as looking at past orders and make queries about specific products from the store. There is a lot more as well as additional features that will become available over time.

Our offline booklist is now available as part of the shop and if you have registered on the forum then you will already have a logon for the shop as it uses the same logon details. Please remember to fill in your shipping address so that we can get your orders out to you. Its also worthwhile to check that we have the right email address on file as well. Elvis Charity tribute show

To celebrate Fibromyalgia Awareness week and the 75 years since the birth of Elvis we are proud to announce the “Ultimate Tribute Elvis Charity Show” which will raise funds for Merseyside & Wirral Fibromyalgia Group and the Wrexham Fibromyalgia Support Group.

The show is featuring International “Professional Elvis Impersonator & Elvis Tribute Artist” Martin Fox & Young Elvis Kirk Kreole. It will feature all your favourites from the 50’s & 60’s.

The show is on the 18th September 2010 at the Kingsland Cabaret Restaurant, Birkenhead. The ticket price of Twenty One pounds (£20 ticket + £1 booking fee online) includes meal, cabaret & disco for a spectacular night. Booking is essential as there are a limited amount of tickets. Spring is definitely on the way, the days are getting longer and the sun is starting to make more of an appearance. With the hope of ever increasing hours of sunshine it's time to start planning those summer vacations.

This month, two of our writers, Sally Mayor and Sally Dixon, share some travel stories and offer tips on how to make travelling with limited mobility uncomplicated and comfortable. Sally Dixon visits the Lake District and shows that with a bit of planning and determination, even this UK mountainous region is accessible and you can enjoy the stunning views and the wide range of cakes on offer.

Sally Mayor has taken the plunge and gone to New York to explore the hectic sights and sounds of this spectacular city. She reports on the welcome she received wherever she went and the bonus of queue jumping in a wheelchair.Read more...

To find your local support group click here, and if there is not a support group near you then why not join in on the busiest forum for fibromyalgia in the UK. We have recently added a welcome board for greetings and introductions and a new Support group and meetups board. Both are proving very popular. In fact the forums and website are continuing to increase in popularity that we are looking to the next solution that will allow us the keep in line with our projected growth.
