Wakefield Awareness events

Below is some information from June Chivers about what the Wakefield group will be doing for September Awareness.

Our big event is the conference on Monday 5th September in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Later that week my chair and I are meeting the local MP Yvette Cooper for a discussion about Fibromyalgia services in the Wakefield District.

The following week after all our hard work 12 of us are off to Newcastle for a day out on the train and in Newcastle we are meeting members of the Newcastle group and the Coordinator for the North East Angela Campbell. I am sure some awareness will be going on that day! Remember the last time I went on a train and talked about Fibro was the day I met the chap who overheard me talking and suggested I apply for the Olympic Inspire Award. Who knows who we'll meet this time?
