Alison is running in the British Gas Great North Swim
Alison Yates is taking part in the British Gas Great North Swim on 17th June. The peace and tranquillity of Lake Windermere will be disturbed when the 10,000 participants arrive for this annual event over the 3 days.
Alison decided to enter this to raise awareness of fibromyalgia because her Mum has had fibromyalgia for a number of years. She is in training for the 2 mile swim and is determined to complete the course in the required time of 1hour 45minutes.
