Castleford May Day Fun Day

We also had the help of Julia Garner (sufferer) and her daughter Kim and Dawn Fergus who help on the stalls too. The fun day was held at Joy's Hall, Mill Lane, South Kirkby. Joy is a friend of Yvonne's and runs a Community Centre. Many thanks to Joy for her help in allowing us to use the centre, and her staff, one of them also has FMS, helping us in raising awareness on our behalf at no cost to the group. We raised over £250 and everyone got into the spirit and had lots of fun,
However, sadly, Yvonne and Fibro Duck was arrested at 12.50 pm and when contacted, Pam Stewart, confirmed that FMA UK Insurance did not cover her bail, so we had to find another way to get her out.
The policeman did let her go eventually after being bribed with a
hotdog and Cornish cream tea, so Yvonne could get back to work, As
usual Yvonne was dressed in FMS colours and looked a total div but hey
ho, there was much laughter and fun all day.
FIBROMYALGIA, yes it is a very
painful condition to live with, but on a positive note, it does bring
you into contact with some wonderful people who are so kind and caring
and will put themselves out there to help others. That's all folks,
and as Zebadee said "Boyoyng, time for bed. Payback tomorrow folks.
